Pitchfork

Justin Vernon is building excitement for his Bon Iver project the traditional way: good old-fashioned touring. So far, it seems to be working, and rightfully so. Bon Iver live sets are impressive in their intimacy, and Vernon has assembled a band that really brings his tunes' delicate harmonies to life.

The UK and Europe will get a taste of Bon Iver's gentle goodness this May and June, as Vernon and co head over there in support of For Emma, Forever Ago, starting with an appearance at ATP vs. Pitchfork. Then, later in the summer, it's back to the States for appearances at Rock the Garden, the Pitchfork Music Festival, and Outside Lands.

Also, Vernon recently remixed the Rosebuds song "Get Up Get Out" for their remix album Sweet Beats, Troubled Sleep (Night of the Furies Remixed), available free from the Merge online store.
