Damon & Naomi, Ghost/Espers Members Team for Tour
Both parties prep releases
Galaxie 500 graduates Damon & Naomi have another combo tour coming up, but this one is with Espers' Helena Espvall and Ghost's Masaki Batoh instead of Boris and Ghost's Michio Kurihara. The excursion is in support of a pair of releases, both coming out July 22.
The Damon & Naomi release is a reissue of their first post-Galaxie 500 album, More Sad Hits. They've remastered the record and included new liner notes and photos in the package for a release on their own 20/20/20 label.
Espvall and Batoh's first recorded collaboration, meanwhile, is a self-titled, full-length affair that will be introduced to record store shelves by Drag City.
The joint tour, finally, kicks off June 12, following a single Damon & Naomi gig at the end of this month.
