Dandy Warhols Fire Up New Label to Release Sixth LP
Alt-rock lifers the Dandy Warhols have followed the interstellar-album-title path they established with 2005's Odditorium or Warlords of Mars with their new record, Earth to the Dandy Warhols.
Earth comes out this summer on the band's new label, Beat the World, but it is already out in one form. Enterprising fans will find the record among the collections of over 10,000 AMI jukeboxes across the U.S. Then, beginning May 19, the record will be available through a digital subscription service the Dandys are launching through their website.
While the band's less rabid fans wait for a physical release date, the Dandy Warhols have scheduled a fair number of European shows for July. They're also planning some Pacific Northwestern dates for June, and a full-blown North American tour this fall.
Earth to the Dandy Warhols:
01 The World the People Together (Come On)
02 Mission Control
03 Welcome to the Third World
04 Wasp in the Lotus
05 And Then I Dreamt of Yes
06 Talk Radio
07 Love Song
08 Now You Love Me
09 Mis Amigos
10 The Legend of the Last of the Outlaw Truckers AKA the Ballad of Sheriff Shorty
11 Beast of All Saints
12 Valerie Yum
13 Musee D'Nougat
Dandys:
05-12 Portland, OR - East End (album listening party)
07-04 Bilbao, Spain - Bilbao BBK Live Festival
07-05 Cluses, France - Lien de Musiques en Stock
07-06 Oslo, Norway - Rockefeller Music Hall
