Autechre Release Quaristice Digital Bonus Tracks
Glitch-happy IDM pioneers Autechre will embrace the digital future by releasing a Quaristice bonus track collection online. Starting May 19 and continuing for a period of two weeks, the duo will release 13 previously unreleased alternate versions of pieces that appeared on Quaristice and that album's special edition bonus disc.
Quaristice.Quadrange.ep.ae will initially be available from Warp Records' Bleep.com store via subscription or à la carte as they become available. One week after the Bleep.com release, the collection will hit iTunes and other digital retailers as a series of five EP bundles. Those EPs include the helpfully titled four-track bundles Quaristice.PPP9.ep.ae, Quaristice.9T9P.ep.ae, Quaristice.c9Pn.ep.ae, and the single track bundle Quaristice.Subrange.ep.ae.
All together, it totals over 140 minutes of music. And the whole thing comes with new artwork from Quaristice cover art firm the Designers Republic.
