Recombinant experimental pop powers, activate! Come July, the top shelf tinkerers in Atlas Sound and El Guincho will take to the road in tandem for a smattering of joint North American dates. Conveniently enough for all involved, the tour's got a familiar starting line: this summer's Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. (Keep an eye peeled for that Flava Flav/M. Ward jump off around the same time.)

Of course, mid-July is a long way away, and both Bradford and Pablo have their work cut out for 'em in the meantime. Having rocked ATP vs. Pitchfork with Deerhunter last weekend, Bradford has a ton of Deerhunter and Atlas Sound European dates coming up, many of which find Mr. Cox taking the same stage as Animal Collective. And then, of course, there's that Deerhunter trek with Nine Inch Nails in the late summer.

El Guincho is just wrapping up his dates with Architecture in Helsinki before heading back to Europe for a tour of his own.
