Bodies of Water Unload New Secretly Canadian LP, Tour
Prepare thyselves for an offering: here comes the new testament from Los Angeles' tower of power Bodies of Water. Entitled A Certain Feeling, it's the band's second LP, and first non-reissue for new label Secretly Canadian. Written and recorded entirely in the Highland Park, L.A. home of bandmates David and Meredith Metcalf, the disc is due July 22. The band has posted some photos from the sessions to its website right here, should your voyeuristic side need a little workout. Choice dog, Bodies of Water!
Following a record release gig at Los Angeles' Echo July 17-- Bodies of Water's final gig with drummer Jessie Conklin, who has decided to leave the band-- the remaining members of BOW will take new recruits Jamie Pitts (drums) and Julie Carpenter (violin/guitar/vocals) across North America in August and September. Fear not, all ye who thirst; Bodies of Water plan to line up a worldwide tour soon.
