Parenthetical Girls Sign to Tomlab, Prep LP, Tour
Experimental Portland ensemble Parenthetical Girls have signed to Tomlab, home to Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, No Kids, Thee Oh Sees, and many other experiment-prone popsters. The Cologne, Germany-based imprint will play host to the Girls' third LP, Entanglements, when it arrives September 9. The "lushly orchestrated" set will be the band's first full-length foray away from their own Slender Means Society imprint.
Parenthetical Girls' next plan? Shows, shows, and more shows, all up and down the West Coast over the next few weeks. They have one tonight in Seattle with Au and Pwrfl Power, and plenty more with those cats-- and, later, with Los Campesinos!-- follow.
In other P-Girls news, their David Horvitz picture disc 7" is available now.
