For proggy types, the Mars Volta sure get outside a lot. Not only do they have a summer full of dates in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, but their itinerary now includes a short round of U.S. shows in September, leading up to their gig at the Austin City Limits Festival.

The Mars Volta's next show is in Osaka, Japan on June 10. Also appearing on that date: the vinyl release of The Bedlam in Goliath, and that reissue of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Jeremy Michael Ward.
