When you've spent the last year or two with a friggin' symphony stuffed in your pants-hole-- as the sonically luxuriant lads of Air have done on their worldwide tour in support of 2007's fine Pocket Symphony-- it's bound to wear on you eventually.

And so, come early fall, Air will embark on their very last Pocket Symphony shows. Fittingly enough, they're calling it the "Close Up Tour". The dates will find the two bidding adieu to their most recent bit of sonic wallpaper in Romania, China, Israel, Latvia, Poland, and, finally, their native France. Then, one hopes, it's on to the next symphony.
