Nas Unveils Even More LP Info, Bumps Release Date
So Nas won't be naming his new album after that word, having opted instead to leave the opus untitled and give it the cover art seen above-- which probably says more than any one word can. And, as it turns out, he won't be releasing the album on July 1, as planned (surprise surprise). The untitled LP will now arrive July 15 via Nas' own Jones Experience imprint/Def Jam.
A few more song titles from the untitled disc have come to light, including DJ Green Lantern-produced recent Forkcast feature "Black President", DJ Toomp-produced album closer "N.I.G.G.E.R. (The Slave and the Master)", Mark Ronson-produced cut "Fried Chicken [ft. Busta Rhymes]", and Polow da Don-produced first official single "Hero". The latter can be streamed at Def Jam's website right now or at the link below.
Nas and DJ Green Lantern also teamed for the recent The Nigger Tape, which mixtape fiends should have no trouble tracking down.
After a lone gig this month, Nas joins up with the Rock the Bells tour in mid-July, just a few days after his album without a name drops. Barring any more date switch-ups, of course.
