"Mutton Chops" Gibbard, "Get a Haircut" Walla, and the rest of those Death Cab cuties took Narrow Stairs to the wide open spaces of Philadelphia's Mann Center for the Performing Arts last night. The guys with the chart-topping first week album sales still have quite a few more hearts to break on tour, which they'll do in North America-- under the watchful eye of last night's openers Rogue Wave-- through June 26. Then it's off to Europe for a few festivals and a whole heap of dates with Styrofoam. Do they call them Death Taxi over there?
And what's that on the horizon there? Could it be a Death Cab Australian tour in August? Believe it.
