A little rain couldn't dampen the spirits of those who gathered to catch Vampire Weekend, Kid Sister, Born Ruffians, and special guest A-Trak play a free Central Park SummerStage show Saturday afternoon/evening-- especially when said show was emceed by none other than Captain Anti-Gloom himself, Andrew W.K. Indeed, the hard-partying rocker even joined the drenched Vampire Weekend boys for a cover of Tom Petty's "Don't Come Around Here No More". Take that, precipitation!
Those Vamps keep their live thing going through the warm months, with a Pitchfork Music Festival touchdown scheduled for July 19. Kid Sister, A-Trak, and Born Ruffians have them some tour dates as well. All will be revealed further down on this page here.
