Ahhh, YouTube, it seems no confrontation can hide from your constant onslaught of shaky-ass live video clips. Heck, here's one now: Seems Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme ran afoul of a bottle-wieldin' jackass at this past weekend's Norwegian Wood festival in Oslo, Norway, and, well, what followed wasn't pretty. Turn your speakers down and have a look [via Idolator]:

To recap: During a take on "3's & 7's" from last year's Era Vulgaris, a container is clearly seen flying from the crowd at Homme. Though he contains his rage well enough for a couple minutes-- long enough to finish the song, anyway-- Homme just can't keep it bottled (ha) up. Amid a flurry of cursing, Homme singles out the perceived bottle hurler, calls him all sorts of nasty names, and even chucks his own bottle at the kid at close range. The kid, meanwhile, looks more stoked than miffed as he's escorted away by festival security.

Now I know I wouldn't want something coming at my head at that speed-- especially when I've got a fever of 102-- but man, Homme, don't you think you were a little hard on the dude? And you dropped at least one f-bomb there that just shouldn't be dropped.

One hopes things go a little smoother at the Queens' next gig, June 19 at Graz, Austria's Kasemattenbühne. Homme also appears on the forthcoming UNKLE LP End Titles... Stories for Film, due next month.
