Robyn to Open for Madonna!
In a pairing so perfect one wonders why it didn't happen sooner, Swedish pop stunner Robyn will join none other than Madonna on a pack of European dates on Madge's "Sticky & Sweet" tour. Our gal Robyn, still fresh off the North American release of her fantastic self-titled LP, will pick up with the Hard Candy peddler at the end of August for roughly a month of shows, breaking just before Madonna brings the big tour to North America.
As for Robyn, she's got a good spate of European festival dates and All Points West to attend to before her meetup with the material girl, and maybe-- just maybe-- a few more North American dates, if those gigs she had to axe to kick it with Whoopi are indeed rescheduled for August. And, hey, if she's not doing anything later this fall, there's no reason this good thing she's got going with Madonna needs to end, right? A guy can dream, anyway.
Robyn:
07-03 Arvika, Sweden - Arvikafestivalen
07-05 London, England - O2 Wireless Festival
07-18 Gräfenhainichen, Germany - Melt! Festival
