Santogold Hops Aboard the Coldplay Tour
It turns out that Coldplay have Friends in some unexpected places. The massive British band recently extended an invite to rising Philly-via-Brooklyn pop star Santogold to open a stint on their gargantuan world tour. Santogold already had scheduled quite a few dates of her own in support of her recently released debut Santogold.
Well, Santogold said yes, and here we are with a handful of stadium shows in late July and early August featuring Coldplay and Santogold.
Of course, both artists' other headlining dates remain intact, and coincidentally enough, each of their next shows is on June 23.
UPDATE: Santogold is no longer playing Lollapalooza, probably because she's opening for Coldplay in Chicago a week before.
