Hot Chip, Vetiver Folks Help Tussle Craft Cream Cuts
Krautrock-indebted San Fran set Tussle are gearing up to issue their third LP, Cream Cuts, on August 26 via the Smalltown Supersound imprint.
Hot Chip's own Alexis Taylor joins the band on Cream cut "Titan", while original Tussle bassist and current Vetiver leader Andy Cabic chimes in on a number of tracks. The new disc was produced by Thom Monahan, a friend of Cabic's who has helmed sessions for Vetiver, Brightblack Morning Light, and that Devendra joker in the past.
Tussle have a smattering of tour dates through the rest of the summer, and promises have been made for a full-on North American tour in September and October.
