Despite being held on a beach, the Ola! Festival has eschewed surf music for a lineup of electro-heavy popsters, including Björk, Girl Talk, Massive Attack, Hercules and Love Affair, Ratatat, Junior Boys, Saint Etienne, Cut Copy, My Brightest Diamond, Islands, Goldfrapp, MGMT, Digitalism, Editors, 2ManyDJs & Soulwax, Kula Shaker, Starsailor, and Niño Malalengua. There's no Dick Dale, but it's a not-too-shabby lineup nonetheless.

Ola! 2008 takes place August 15 at Playa de Guardias Viejas in El Ejido, Spain.
