Bardo Pond to Tour US in October

Finally, someone besides Jethro Tull recognizes that flutists exist

Bardo Pond, a leading member of the awkwardly named Psychedelphia scene, will be headlining a modest-sized tour of the Midwest and West Coast in October. No opening bands have been announced for the tour, which is in support of their fourth Matador release, Dilate. While recent albums have been refinements of the flute-and-violin-laced twin-guitar psycho-sludge that is Bardo Pond's stock in trade, the live shows will likely focus on the other side of the equation. A pharmaceutical allotment of tidal force or the sonic equivalent of swimmer's ear? You'll just have to wade in and see for yourself.
