At work, inside burning buildings, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the old firefighter’s adage; never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules. After seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt have drifted so far apart that Catherine wishes she had never married. As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb’s father challenges his son to commit to a 40-day experimental he calls “The Love Dare”. When Caleb discovers the book’s daily challenges are tied into his parents’ newfound faith, his already limited interest is further dampened. Is it too late to fireproof his marriage? Caleb Holt’s job is to rescue others, but now he has to face his toughest job ever…rescuing his wife’s heart. (Samuel Goldwyn Films)

I could not finish it. Horrible. the worst dollar ever spent in red box.
Jared B. gave it a10:
After hearing that "Fireproof" was a movie about marriage, I, being a bachelor, was a little less than excited to see it. But, after hearing nothing but good things from my fellow Christian friends, I decided to give it a look. To my surprise, I LOVED IT!!!!! This movie actually gave me great advice on what to do, whenever I do get married, to make it work. Regardless of your marital status, you owe it to yourself to see this flat-out amazing movie.
Jonathan H. gave it a0:
This film makes "In the Name of the King" look Oscar worthy. The only reason that it has any positive reviews at all is because it is religious, which, in my opinion, makes it worse.
Keith H. gave it a1:
I am searching for Christianity that is intelligent and thought-provoking and this film fell way short of those qualities. Maybe someday the "message" will be presented in the arts so that us with college educations can be inspired.
Virginia E. gave it a10:
Great Movie. Me and my husband are in our early thirties and thought this movie was amazing. Gives great advise on how to make a marriage really work. Put God first!!! It will make any marriage work.
Danny V. gave it a0:
Terrible script, awful acting, subpar directing. This movie is crap in every conceivable way. To all the people giving this trash 10s, how much did your pastor pay you brainwashed losers?
Phillip Oliver gave it a1:
Dreadful acting and production values.
