Watch Out: King Khan's What Is?! Coming to America
What Is?!, the blurt-heavy lo-fi soul-punk opus from scream-happy luchadores and summer festival staples King Khan and the Shrines, was Pitchfork's #33 album of 2007. But it's still never seen American release.
That'll finally change on April 21, when Vice, King Khan's American label, drops the album in North America. That's almost two years after the German label Hazelwood first issued it, but better late than never.
Meanwhile, the band will play a bunch of shows across America's Southern states in the weeks leading up to SXSW.
