Beirut braved non sequiturs about Regis Philbin the other night on "Late Show With David Letterman" to play The Flying Club Cup's "A Sunday Smile", a song that makes its national TV debut about a year and a half after it hit the internet. Beirut crooner Zach Condon and his road-tested big band look poised and ready for primetime as they play strings, accordion, and horn parts on this swaying, continental tune.
