Pitchfork: Gris Gris Conjure Up Slew of Dates

The Gris Gris' guide Greg Ashley and his merry bandsters are decamping their lairs yet again in support of For the Season, their latest collection of swampy shakedowns and mystic musics, out now on Birdman Records.

The tour looks daunting already but will be fleshed out even more as soon as dates and venues are confirmed. After a few scattered West Coast dates in February and two back-to-back San Fran shows with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Gris Gris will start their mission in earnest by covering the U.S. between early March and mid-May.

Along for most of the ride will be Brian Jonestown Massacre alum and Birdman Records associate Brian Glaze, who will be warming brains before they are fried with tunes from his upcoming album Let's Go to the Sea. A good number of the shows will occur at the mysterious venue known simply as "TBA". Here's the roadmap to get you started:
