Tunng Sign to Thrill Jockey, Plan New LP, Tour

London folk collective Tunng have signed to Thrill Jockey in order to release their follow-up to last year's Comments of the Inner Chorus in the fall. The deal is for North America only; the band remains on Full Time Hobby in the UK.

The new record is called Good Arrows and will come out right around the time of the band's U.S. tour in October, the details of which are still forthcoming. Thrill Jockey will also distribute Comments in the U.S.

In the meantime, Tunng have more than a few European festival shows to keep them busy, including a September performance at the Thermal Festival, organized by the band's Sam Genders to take place in his home village in England.

Tunng's summer tour starts tonight (June 15) in Hultsfred, Sweden.
