The Narrator Call It Quits, Plan Farewell Shows

"This Party's Over", indeed
The Narrator Call It Quits, Plan Farewell Shows Alas, it would seem we've reached the final chapter for spastic Chicago rockers the Narrator. The Flameshovel-allied four-piece has decided to call it a day after five-and-a-half years of churning out the high-energy stuff.

No reason was given for the split; indeed, the band has said nary a thing about it apart from "Yeah, we're breaking up." Mysterious! Though they do list their "current mood" as "okay"-- with a smiley floating kitty head-- in a MySpace blog post announcing the split. Guess things are all good, then?

The Narrator leave us with two albums-- 2005's Such Triumph and 2007's All That to the Wall-- plus the Youth City Fire EP and a self-titled 7", all on Flameshovel.

Before they go, however, the Narrator will play a pair of farewell gigs in Chicago and New York City. Break out your mourning best and head to one of the spots below.
