For non-New Yorkers, Strand is a dusty bookseller filled with an insane amount of literature, all very cheap and discounted from the normal Barnes & Noble/Borders, etc. price. In short, it rules. So while passing one of the many display tables, a novel caught my eye and taught me something I never knew: ROSEMARY’S BABY was a novel (by Ira Levin) before it became the phenomenal film it is. I’m sure I’m behind on that info, so bear with me here. It was $4(!), so I grabbed it and just a week ago I finally got a chance to pick it up while I’m not drowning in books for class.

Remember that stack of movies on my desk? I’m trying. No, I really am. It’s taking a bit, though. Good news, however, at least for me: One of those which I’ve been aching to see has finally been consumed by my eyes.
