-- People are starting to catch onto this M. Ward guy, huh? The folk vet-- and sometime Him-- is expanding his current U.S. tour in support the just-released Hold Time LP. Old dates; new dates.

-- After five years of fighting the good indie-rock fight, Get Him Eat Him-- led by Pitchfork senior writer Matt LeMay-- is packing up their power pop for other worthwhile pursuits. But, as a parting gift, the group just released a farewell EP titled The Throat Is Bent and featuring characteristically meticulous hand-packaged artwork. The disc is available at their site and at Amie Street in the digital download format. Get Him Eat Him will play one last show this Saturday, February 21, with Kleenex Girl Wonder at Union Hall in Brooklyn.

-- Breast-baring hip-hop radicals Yo Majesty are going through some drama. Like, serious drama. According to Out Hip Hop, member Jwl B-- who was recently locked up on assault charges-- is out of jail and back in the group. But Shunda K is now out of the group because she doesn't like Jwl B very much. Original member Shon B will replace Shunda K (who is working on solo material). And we thought "Lost" was a bit tangled.

-- No Better Place is the name of Fountains of Wayne's first live DVD, which will come out March 3 on Shout! Factory (watch the trailer). The 16-song set was recorded in Chicago, and the DVD will also feature some bonus acoustic songs. Full track list and pre-order information here.
