Given that the Deal sisters are women who whoop ass, it would make sense that the Breeders are big fans of women who whoop ass. And it would absolutely make sense that the band would spend their Valentine's Day with a St. Louis roller derby team. Because really, what else would anybody rather be doing?

The St. Louis Riverfront Times reports that the Breeders filmed a music video on Saturday, February 14 for a forthcoming EP, one that'll be out this spring or summer. The stars of the video: the STL's Arch Rival Roller Girls. The Riverfront Times posted photos from the shoot here.

The Breeders only have one show coming up. May 15-17, they'll be in Minehead, England, playing an ATP weekend that they also curated. Their picks include Gang of Four, Shellac, Throwing Muses, and Bon Iver. Plus you know it would be fun to get really drunk with Kim Deal.
