Through a fundamental change in people’s motives and attitudes, H-SL seeks to:

  • Bring personal change as the foundation for a free, fully-functioning democratic society
  • Empower members of the security forces and civil society together to become creators of peace and leaders of change in today’s society
  • Create an environment free from violence, hate, greed and indifference
  • Enable reconciliation and healing to take place in situations of conflict at family, community and national level
  • Tackle the root causes of corruption, poverty and marginalization of women and youths
