Jonathan Mills came sprinting down the court, went airborne and smashed Jerome Moore's apparent breakaway layup into the eighth row. That game-changing moment along with his 13 points and 23 rebounds led No. 4 North Lawndale to a scintillating 54-51 overtime victory against No. 5 Hyde Park.

In the marquee match of the evening at Assembly Hall, Glenbard North's Tony Ramos claimed his third consecutive state championship and his second straight at 125 with a 3-1 overtime victory against Sandburg's Jon Morrison.
