Why am I even bothering to ask this question?

And why am I bothered that people are reacting negatively to somebody giving birth? Public forum or not, it's giving birth...I don't see the need for shock.

Yes, this is a porn site, however, their are many groups on SG where people have strongly bonded w/each other and many groups have nothing to do with sex/porn. Giving birth in a chat room is educational for those who want to watch and is also a fantastic way for all of those who have befriended FALLENGLORY to be a part of something very special in her life.

I don't think it's that's weird. This site has facilitated a lot of wonderful relationships and friendships.To many, this site and community is much, much more than just a porn site. The sub-community of chatters here are a very tight-knit and supportive group.

I don't think it's that outlandish to share new life in the same manner that people feel hurt and loss when we lose a member of this community.

I only take issue with the fact that this thread is posted on the "Everything SG" board, where it may have been more appropriate in say, "Lifestyles". I come to this board to read about the site itself, SGs, and sets. Having a thread that is non site related come up when I load this board is irritating. But, if the mods think it's cool for it to be here, then fine. I'll leave be.

People videotape the births of their children to show to their loved ones. It may not be super common, but it's certainly not anything that should surprise anyone. This birth simply eliminated the lag between recording and playback.
