To potential new users:
Due to an outbreak in early June 2011 of spambot registrations and the attendant time we've had to devote to cleaning up spambot vandalism, we've temporary disabled new user registration on Ballotpedia.
However, if you are a human being, you can still register, but to do so, you must email us and request a user account.
Send your email request for a new user account to newuser@ballotpedia.org with "NEW USER" in the subject line. In the body of the email, please indicate what your preferred username is. Unless you indicate otherwise, we will email you at the email address you used to send the request to tell you what your new user name is, and what your temporary password is. You'll be able to re-set the password as soon as you log in for the first time.
