Costa Dorada Restaurant and Tapas Bar has its cerdit too. Apart from providing delicious tapas, they also put on an amazing FLAMENCO SHOW EVERY WEEKEND.
You have to book in advanced to see the show and try the set tapas menu.

The best London tapas restaurant by far is Elche in Leytonstone, which is by far the most authentic Tapas restaurant in London. Great value with a superb Tapas buffet, 3 tapas and a drink lunch which combined with friendly service and the superb food cannot be beaten.

I must wrote to disagree with the 2 readers mentioning Camino here. We have eaten here on 3 occasions, and on each the meat dishes have been excellent. However the fish and vegetables have been, on each occasion, inedible. The fish once was off, the other 2 times so overcooked it was dry. A good wine list, but overpriced bad food.

Oh god, this is making me crave tapas!! Camino is my favourite, in King's Cross. Quite tricky to find but impressive when you arrive - just look for the alley on the left hand side near Pret on Pentonville Rd, 2 secs from Kings Cross. A great place for a date, parents and meeting friends. The dome in the restaurant area is amazing - don't miss taking a look.

And El Faro is missing from this list too... It is in Coldharbour, ok not easy for everyone but definitely worth the journey!!!

La Vina (Wightman Road, Haringey) right by the station - this place is cheap and very cheerful. Great food, good value, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.

What about Cigala on Lamb's Conduit Street, WC1N, near Holborn and Russel Square! Great service, unpretentious and delicious tapas, paella and hearty, rustic main courses.

i was surprised to that El Pirata De Tapas on Westbourne Grove was not on the list. They have the best tapas I have tried and you cannot beat the price elsewhere , even in Spain itself. I always order their paprika squid and traditional tortilla.

I don't see Fino on your list.

The best tapas EVER has to be Number 22 in herne hill. Can not miss at this place.

What about Rebato's, near Vauxhall. The only Spanish restaurant in this Portuguese enclave: cheap, cosy and really friendly staff.

being spanish i can only truly recommend Tendido Cero and Iberica. The rest are for the british market and not for locals.
