Kansas State Upends Dragons in NCAA Tournament

Albuquerque, N.M. - Drexel saw its most successful season in school history come to an end the hands of the Kansas State Wildcats (25-7) in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament as the Dragons (24-9) fell 68-44. Gabriela Marginean scored all 15 of her points in the second half after being hampered by foul trouble in the first period. Jasmina Rosseel scored 13 points and made three three-pointers to set a new single-season record for treys with 90 this year.  Seniors Nicole Hester, Andrea Peterson and Brooke Cornish played out the final minutes of their Drexel careers on the floor of the Pit in Albuquerque, N.M. after leading their team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance ever.
