  • We are in the process of revamping the Time Out London site from the bottom up, with the aim of making it the best possible site for planning and sharing your leisure time in London. We have tons of ideas for how we can do things better and features we want to add, but we also have our ears and eyes wide open and we’re looking for input from our users: that’s you.

We’d really appreciate your comments on what you think would make the site better, right now, from your personal point of view. It could be something really simple, or a really far-fetched wish. Either way, we’re listening.

Please leave your comments below, and if you’d be available to help us test our new site please send us your details so that we can contact you when the time comes.

I will be visiting London in early April and look forward to taking some of the walks thru London. However it would really be helpful if you provide a one page option to print your suggested walks. As it is each walk takes at least 2 pages to print out and this is a waste of paper.

Hi all, thanks for your comments. Our to do list is an long as an orangutan's arm that's for sure. To respond to a few comments in turn:
Jonathan and Shitij - Yep, all restaurants on a map is a goal, plus the ability to filter by Cheap Eats or cuisine, or other tag such as 'good for groups'. Basically we want to be able to present any search result on a map. It's a big job though, currently scheduled for April/May.
Jenefer and others - the Strings Attached initiative is closed. It should not be appearing in the magazine.
Frank Griffith - our classical music editor is Jonathan Lennie 'at' timeout.com
Frequent event organiser - Yes that's a good idea thanks, i'll pass that on the team. You can see similar other features here http://www.timeout.com/london/bars/features/
Rupert - We do actually provide an area-search in the Bars and Restaurants sections, but not in the main London events search. We used to provide that service, but stats told us that people weren't using it. I totally get your point though.
Anon - the commenting system is old, we are about to replace it. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I am pleased to say, though, that as of next week we'll have the RSS feed for the blog. You can also subscribe to the twitter feed @timeoutbigsmoke.
Steven - great idea re the TFL transport info. That is in the pipeline. Thanks for that.
Dorinne - I love cheese too.
Glyn - the sport section was cut from the magazine. Research has told us that sport is as important to Time out readers as other sections.
Charlie - You can indeed search restaurants by the star rating received. Simply 'sort by... rating' using the drop down at the top of your results page.
Thanks as always for the comments folks. We're keeping an eye on this all the time.
    Alastair

Can you please explain to me how to submit a question to Karl Lutchmeyer who is your Classical music expert. This procedure is not clear on your website.
    Thanks

I'd really like to see all the restaurants and bars in the "cheap eats" and "cheap drinking" sections on a map.

I agree wih Mike Barwick - I have a guitar to donate, but your site keeps on teling me that "the competition is now closed". What competition? And howcome this week's TO is still asking, under No Strings, for instruments? All very frustrating.....

You want the on-line to look like the off-line. This is/was something about going in and buying TO at the newsagent and now you want accurate listings and fun London-based editorial. That said, I'm not sure that I want to sit in front of the screen and read a lot of editorial. You really want that experience paper based. I'm commenting really because I've just read this week's The Night I Died in the Comedy section. Which I think is one of the best things at the mo in the mag! But I was going to say is, expand Comedy to involve street entertainers, which means Walking Tours. I'm a London Blue Badge tour guide who leads walks across our venerable, seething, and now strapped for cash capital. I could send you a 'The Night I Died' entry. Toodle pip

It would be great if TimeOut did a feature on bars/pubs that are well-suited to large groups, either bc they have private rooms are are just spacious. I would love to see it!

Well I was looking for a top notch greasy fry up.
So what do i search on, I tried 'fry up' 2070 results and like wise for 'full english' - basically there was no search criteria for a fry up/full english breakfast.
You may want to incorpoaret search for breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night snacks etc. which would probably mean reclassifying your data.
Having said, if there are no reviews of breakfasts then there is not much point for searching on 'fry ups'. BUT potentially you could indicate whether any of the venues on your database offer breakfast.
Look forward to reviews of fry ups/breakfast
