Bryant takes some time out for kids
Kobe Bryant encountered more than 100 kids at an After-School All-Stars program at Walsh School in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood Friday.

"In an impressive class of rookies, it's clear that Derrick has established himself as the cream of the crop," general manager John Paxson said in the news release announcing the web site. "And he'd be very deserving of Rookie of the Year honors."
