Hynes Wins Consolation Final, Earns All-America Status at NCAA Championships

College Park, Texas - Kate Hynes qualified 15th in the 3-meter diving preliminary event to clinch Honorable Mention All-America status. With her finish, she qualified for the consolation final. In her final six dives of her collegiate career, Hynes completed career in fitting fashion as the four-time CAA Diver of the Year won the consolation final to claim ninth place. Hynes is the only Division I Women's Swimming & Diving All-American; she has earned the honor in both her junior and senior seasons.
