Siarhei Rutenka, also Sergej Rutenka, (born September 29, 1981 in Minsk, Belarus) is a Spanish handball player. He was born in Belarus, but later acquired Slovenian citizenship. In January, 2008, he received the Spanish nationality [1], renouncing the Slovenian nationality. His preferred position is outside left, but he is also capable of playing as the pivot and playmaker. He came to prominence while playing for the Slovenian club Celje Pivovarna Laško. He currently plays for BM Ciudad Real in Spain. His hobbies include bowling and films.

Rutenka was the top goalscorer at the 2006 European Men's Handball Championship.
