Dafydd Ieuan (born 1 March 1969, in Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales)[1] is the drummer with the band, Super Furry Animals. He currently lives in Cardiff with his wife Debbie and their two children Cai and Lleucu.[2]

He is Cian Ciaran's older brother[3]. He played with Gruff Rhys in their old band, Ffa Coffi Pawb (one of the most influential Welsh bands of the late 1980s). Dafydd is about to release a record with his side project, The Peth ("The Thing", in Welsh), which includes actor and SFA-friend Rhys Ifans on vocals. He was also a one-time drummer for fellow Welsh group Catatonia from 1993-1996, before joining Super Furry Animals.
