The team is currently in third place in the CAA standings and trying to distance itself from a very tight field of opponents in hopes of sewing up a bid in the conference tournament for a second straight season. The 7:00 p.m. match kicks off at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va.

Teams: Drexel (6-4-5, 4-1-3 CAA) at George Mason (7-6-2, 3-4-1 CAA)

Venue: George Mason Stadium Fairfax, Va.

All-Time Series: George Mason holds a slight 3-4 edge in the all-time series. The teams have also played to one tie in their eight meetings.

Last Meeting: Senior defender Mark Stevenson picked up his first career goal, just 10 minutes into the match, off a corner kick by Anthony Bafile as Drexel went on to win 1-0 at home against George Mason on Oct. 14, 2007. The win gave Drexel four conference victories, which was the most for the Dragons since joining the CAA.

Crockett, who at 6-foot-1 is a big target at striker, scored goals in two of the Dragons’ last four matches –both ties.

George Mason is led in scoring by a trio of players: Lucas Pardew, Kwame Adgeman-Pamboe and Parker Walton, who all have three goals apiece. Backing the Patriots is keeper Sean Kelley, who has been one of the top keepers in the league in each of the last two seasons. Kelley was named CAA Rookie of the Year in 2006 and earned Preseason All-CAA honors in 2007. He came back last week after missing two matches and posted a four-save shutout against Georgia State.
