The '''Tommy Murphy Cup''' is the name of a Gaelic_Games competition that the so-called "weaker" counties of Gaelic_football participate in. The participants are the teams that were eliminated at the early provincial stages of the All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship and also Kilkenny who do not field a team in the main All-Ireland. The Cup is named after Tommy_Murphy, a famous footballer from County_Laois. The series of games are organised by the Gaelic_Athletic_Association and are played during the summer months with the Final being played in August in Croke_Park, Dublin. ==Past winners== {|class="wikitable" |- style="background:#efefef" !
