'''Drighlington''' is a small village 9 km (5 miles) to the south west of Leeds and 6 km (4 miles) south east of Bradford in the county of West_Yorkshire.
The village is at the junction of the A58_road Leeds-Halifax road and the Bradford to Wakefield road known as the Drighlington Crossroads.
Drighlington despite being in the Leeds Metropolitan District area considers it's a part of Bradford. It also has a Bradford postcode "BD11".
The battle of Adwalton Moor, part of the First_English_Civil_War took place near the village in 1643.
