First Solar customer gets $455.7M for Ontario projects
Ohio’s U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown and the head of the Export-Import Bank of the United States announced Friday that the bank has agreed to provide financing totaling $455.7 million so that the First Solar Inc. plant in Perrysburg Township can produce 90 megawatts worth of solar panels to power two solar projects in Ontario, Canada. The project will sustain jobs of 550 workers at the Perrysburg Township plant.
