Contributors to the IUCN Red List

The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species is compiled and produced by the IUCN Species Programme based on contributions from a network of thousands of scientific experts around the world. These include members of the IUCN Species Survival Commission Specialist Groups, IUCN Red List Partners (currently Conservation International, BirdLife International, NatureServe and the Zoological Society of London), and many others, including experts from universities, museums, research institutes and non-governmental organizations. The long list of all contributors is being compiled and will be posted here in due course. In the interim, the acknowledgements and credits from the various assessment projects are provided here.
