The Icon

Porsche 996 Turbo is simply a great car. The car looks fine when standing still, and there is no doubt about the performance when driving it. It is a result of over 30 years of development, and in that time the concept has matured to provide the best of driving. This is one of the fastest cars on the road, it can be used for daily commuting and on a race track just as well. It is the Icon of all sports cars - every other manufacturer is comparing themself to the Porsche. The pole position is challenging and has helped Porsche to develop the car better and better all the time.

My 996 Turbo is a supercar for every season. The speed provided by TechArt modifications is supported by adjustable Bilstein/H&R suspension. I've also got straight pipes to maximize the performance, but they are more for the track use due to the fact they are somewhat too noisy for Sunday cruising and they might also cause some headaches amongst the neighbours.

It was 1974 when I first drove on the autobahns and scenic alpine routes. Much has changed since then but the thrill of driving is still there. The Porsche 911 Turbo has been my dream car since its introduction also in 1974 and it did not take too long to decide when I had the opportunity to have one of my own. I am very pleased to have a car which is unique and I believe that it will justify the term Icon also for the years to come.
