Wisconsin voters mixed on school measures
On April 7, Wisconsin voters split on 44 local school measures, defeating 22 and approving 22. Voters in other Wisconsin school districts have school choices to make on April 21, 28 and May 19.
Legislative tampering alleged in Nevada
Anti-smoking activist Kendall Stagg has filed a request with the Nevada Supreme Court, asking it to intervene to prevent what he regards as legislative tampering on the part of the Nevada Senate, which is considering modifying the provisions of the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act, which was approved with over 54% of the vote in 2006 as a ballot initiative.
