The Utah House of Representatives is the lower house of the Utah State Legislature. 75 members make up the lower chamber of the Utah Legislature and meet at the State Capitol in Salt Lake City. House districts are redistricted every 10 years, after the Census is taken, to ensure that each legislator represents as nearly as possible the same number of constituents. The ideal population for each of the 75 House districts after redistricting in 2001 was 29,776[1].
