Endowments- donate in perpetuity.
Contact your attorney or tax advisor to see about the tax
benefits of an endowment to AHRF. The AHRF's Birtman Grant, a one-year $75,000 grant to investigate topics in otology, is an endowment grant based on a more than $2 million gift from Georgia Birtman in 1991.
Field of Interest Fund- Similar to an endowment, but goes toward a specific field agreed upon by the donor and the AHRF.
Bequests - contact your attorney to see how you can make a bequest and enable us to continue funding research projects.
Insurance policies - perhaps you have had insurance policies stashed away for years. Now that you’ve added new insurance policies, you can let go of the old policies. You can donate insurance policies to fund hearing and balance related research.
Bonds and securities -think about your bonds or securities that may be flat or less valuable than before. They can help fund hearing and balance disorders related to the inner ear.
Stocks. Maybe you have stocks that aren’t producing as well as you’d like them to? Though they may have declined in value, you can still give them as a gift to the AHRF.
Coins and paper money- both foreign or domestic, rare and current. We can turn that cash into valuable resources to help fund hearing and balance disorders research.
Precious metals and jewelry- old watches, jewelry, gold and silver pieces and coins—these can all be used to help the AHRF.
