What is RSS?

RSS or Rich Site Syndication (also Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines, summaries and links to full page web content. For additional information on RSS click here.

How do I access RSS?

RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. You can locate RSS readers via web search engines such as Google or Yahoo.

How do I subscribe to a Podcast?

You can subscribe to a podcast using an audio player such as iTunes (instructions here), Juice (instructions here), or your favorite podcatcher.

Why Use RSS?

RSS is an easy way to gather a wide variety of content in one place on your computer. Rather than having to visit many web sites to find out if there is new content, the RSS aggregator shows it all to you in one screen.
