Karen Barber (born 21 June 1961) is a British ice dancer.

She started ice dancing at the age of 14, and not long after that she won the UK's National Junior Championships. She won the silver medal at the 1977 World Junior Figure Skating Championships with partner Kim Spreyer.
With partner Nicholas Slater, she competed internationally on the senior level, placing 12th at the 1980 Winter Olympics and 6th at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Since retiring from competition, Barber has worked as a coach and toured professionally. She is a judge on the UK seasons of Dancing on Ice and on Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice.
Barber is a mother of two teenage daughters, Laura and Emma, and lives in England with her husband, Steve Pickavance, a fellow skating coach.
