The second bi-annual conference of Interacting with Immersive Worlds is being held in the beautiful Niagara Peninsula at Brock University on June 15-16, 2009. The primary focus of the conference is to explore the growing cultural importance of interactive media, which includes the effects of video games on culture and society. With the several announcements made recently in interactive media, such as advancements of “cloud” technology, the conference is very timely and should provide valuable insight for those interested in the future of technology and its impact on our lives.

Subscribe to the calendar
We offer a feed of the events in our calendar, in RFC 2445 format (better known
as "iCalendar"), which is compatible with many modern calendar programs.
In other calendar software, check your manual. If your software supports subscription,
subscribe to the URL http://www.gamedev.net/directory/events/subscribe.asp.
If your program doesn't support subscriptions but does support iCalendar importing,
then you can click this link to download a file to import
to your calendar. If it's not a subscription then your calendar won't automatically
update when we add new events, so you'll need to check back here from time to time.
